y = 1/2x +1
The equation is y=mx+b and to put that in simple terms the y and x in the equation are just to show you where they go in the answer. The m is for the dots on the graph as in you divide how many up by how many to the right, and for this one it is 1 up and 2 over to get to the next dot. And then the b in this equation is for where the line hits the y axis in the middle and it goes through 1. So all together y = 1/2x + 1
