So, you want to move any number with a variable to one side and one without a variable to the other
But first, you must distribute the 2(x–4)
2(x–4) –> 2x–8
Next, move the numbers.
2x–8=3x–2
-8=x–2
-6=x
x is 6

2x-8=3x-2
2x-3x=-2+8
-1x=6
X=6/-1
X=-6
