Answer:

The Great African Lakes are a set of great lakes of tectonic origin, located in East Africa, which includes some two deepest lakes in the world. Most of these lakes were formed about 35 thousand years ago in the Western Rift Valley, two branches of this geological formation spanning Ethiopia, Quénia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Moçambique.

Lake Niassa ou Malawi, divided by Moçambique, Malawi and Tanzânia;

Lake Tanganyika, which faces the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzânia and Burundi;

Lake Kivu, which separates Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo;

Lake Eduardo and Lake Albert, which separate Uganda from the Democratic Republic of the Congo;

Lake Vitória, which is the highest of all, is found between two branches (eastern and western) of the Vale do Rift and the partilhado of Quénia, Uganda and Tanzânia; and

Lake Turkana (formerly Lake Rodolfo), more than 90% shared in Quénia and the rest of Ethiopia, than the only large African lake not in the eastern branch of the Vale do Rift.

The lakes Vitória, Alberto and Eduardo vertem suas águas no Rio Nilo Branco. Or Lake Tanganyika and Lake Kivu drains the Congo River, while Lake Niassa drains the Zambezi River. Or Lake Turkana (Rudolfo) is endorheic
