The answer is -17/3 because you will subtract the 5 on both side because you will need to leave the c by itself. So now you have 6x=-34. To fully leave the x by itself you would divide 6 on both sides. That would leave you with -34/6 but then you would need to simplify. Then that would give you -17/3
