PLEASE HELP At the same farmer's market there was a fruit stand. The fruit stand sold a

bushel of apples for $12.00 and a bushel of pears for $11.00. One man ordered 2
bushels of apples and his bill came to $57.00. How many bushels of pears did he
order? USE THE EQUATION: 12a + 11p = 57

Answer:

3 bushels of pears

Explanation:

$12x2=$24 $57-$24=$33

$33/$11=3

(I don’t understand how I would use the equation you gave, it doesn’t make sense)
