\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 49(7^(3x-8))=343^(4x+9)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 7^2(7^(3x-8))=(7^3)^(4x+9)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 7^(2+3x-8)=7^(3(4x+9))

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 7^(3x-6)=7^(12x+27)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 3x-6=12x+27

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -33={9x}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow x=(-33)/(9)

x = - (33)/(9)

Explanation:

(49)(7 {}^(3x - 8) ) = 343 {}^(4x + 9)

As we know 7² = 49 and 7³= 343

7 {}^(2) (7 {}^(3x - 8) ) = (7 {}^(3) ) {}^(4x + 9)

Taking 7 as common

7 {}^(3x - 6) = 7 {}^(12x + 27)

3x - 6 = 12x + 27

Taking like terms one side .

3x - 12x = 27 + 6

- 9 x = 33

x = - (33)/(9)
