In the Great Depression so many people were poor and did not have a lot of food. So some people stole money to support themselves and sometimes killed to get what they needed because in the Great Depression the stock market crash so many were left with no money. The farms in places like Texas got dust storms because of over worked soil and improper soil usage so the soil was like dust so thee was no food either so they had to steal to get what the needed.
