The weight of meteorite A is 5 times the weight of meteorite B. If the sum of their weights is 138

tons, find the weight of each. (Submit all work for full credit).

Answer:meteorite A: 115

meteorite B : 23

Step-by-step explanation: this should be not too hard to understand. but there are 6 equal parts of 138. 5 of those are occupied by the bigger number, 115, which is 5 times as large as 23. also shown as a=5b=115. hope it helps
