The x-intercept is (2,0).

What is the x-intercept of a linear equation.

A linear equation is an equation that consist of x variable, y variable, and a constant. The highest degree of a linear equation is 1.

The x-intercept of a linear equation is the value of x when y is equal to zero. To determine the x-intercept of the linear equation, we will replace y with zero and solve for x; i.e.

5x - 2y = 10

5x - 2(0) = 10

5x = 10

Divide both sides by 5

(5x)/(5)=(10)/(5)

x = 2

x-intercept = (2,0)

Therefore, the x-intercept is (2,0).
