Answer:

A = 28

B = 22

Explanation:

All money will be recorded in pennies

Let A = the 45 Bulb

Let B = the 65 bulb

A + B = 50 (1)

45A + 65B = 2690 (2)

Multiply (1) by 45 and subtract that from (2)

45A + 65B = 2690

45A + 45B = 2250 Subtract

20B = 440

B = 22

A + B = 50

A + 22 = 50

A = 50 - 22

B = 28

Check

45*28 + 22* 65 =

1260 + 1430 = 2690
