like terms are things that are the same such as 1a and 2a, they share the same variable. so for question 1, the like terms would be B.

the second one is basically just adding them, so it’s kinda just -3+5. so your answer for number two is 2c.

the third one is very similar to the second one, it’s basically just 3-1+6. the answer to the third one is 8y.

the fourth one is also similar, you need to add like terms. so you need to look at the problem and add the a’s together since there are no other like terms found in the expression. so the simplified problem is -3a+3+8b.

same thing like 4 you need to look for like terms so the simplified expression is 2a+7rs

just distribute the 3 to all of them so like 3 times x and 3 times 2 so it’s 3x+6

same thing 6y-48

ok this one is a little different but mostly the same concept so 2a+4a+20-7 6a+13
