My teacher asked me to round 12,800 to the nearest thousand. I think that the answer is 13,000. Did I round correctly?

Answer: Yes!

Explanation:

You go from the 2 to the 8 in 12800. And sense the 8 is higher you change the 2 to a 3. So it makes 13000.
