newspapers have four sides because it is a square

one side is parallel to the other side.

so

20 × 2 for the width

35 × 2 for the height

20 × 2 = 40

35 × 2 = 70

add together for the perimeter.

40 + 70 = 110 in.

20 + 35 + 20 + 35 = 110 in.
