PLEASE HELP! I left to go eat and when I came back I forgot what I was doing.

The image shown is of two sets of parallel lines.
The m∠ 13 = 29x - 2 and the m∠ 9 = 27x + 6
What is the m∠ 12?

Answer:

x = 4

m∠12 = 66

m∠13 and m∠12 are linear pairs (supplementry angles)

Explanation:

m∠9 ≈ m∠15 (Vertical angle)

m∠15 ≈ m∠13 (Corresponding angle)

m∠9 ≈ m∠13

29x - 2 = 27x + 6

2x - 2 = 6

2x = 8

x = 4

m∠13 = 29(4) - 2

m∠13 = 114

m∠13 + m∠12 = 180

180 - m∠13 = m∠12

180 - 114 = 66

m∠12 = 66
