If we want to find the axis of symmetry of the parabola of
y=-4x^(2) -8x-7, we would use the formula of
-(b)/(2(a)) to find it.

b=-8

a=-4

so the formula would look like this
-(-8)/(2(-4)), simplify it >>>
-(-8)/(-8) which is -1

So -1 would be the axis of symmetry
