Will wanted to make some brownies using the pan shown below. A rectangular prism with a length of 9 inches, width of 8 inches, and height of 1.5 inches. What is the maximum amount of brownie batter that Will can pour into the pan, in cubic inches?

A.37 B.54 C.108 D.216

You need to work out the volume to know how much batter you need to pour. For any shape, the volume is width x length x height. In this case it would be 9 x 8 x 1.5 which would be 108 inch³. So the maximum batter is C.

C = 108.
