The rectangle shown has a perimeter of 94 cm and the given area. Its length is 7 more than three times its width.

Answer:

width = 10 cm

length = 37 cm

perimeter = 94 cm

area = 370 cm^2

Explanation:

Perimeter = 2(length + width)

x is width, then length is 3x + 7

so 2(x + 3x + 7) = 94

4x + 7 = 47

4x = 40

x = 10

length = 3(10) + 7 = 37
