If QR is the hypotenuse of right △PQR, PQ = 18, and QR = 24, find RP.

Explanation:

Using the Pythagoras theorem, as QR^2 is the hypotenuse:

24^2 = 18^2 + RP^2

RP^2 = 24^2- 18^2

RP^2 = (24-18)(24+18)
