Why is the legislative branch important?

Congress is responsible for making enabling laws to make sure the spirit of the constitution is upheld in the country and, at times, amend or change the constitution itself. In order to craft laws, the legislative body comes out with two main documents: bills and resolutions.

Answer:

Congress branch is important because they review laws and proposals from different branches and approve of reject them with whatever whether it be the constitution or the bill of rights. Reasoning. Example if we didn't have them the president come declare war without anyone else input weighing over it. They are one of the reasons governments are balanced. Legislative branch is the one that comes out with these ideas. If we didn't have this branch important laws wouldn't have been thought of or brought to mind.
