x = 1

Explanation:

–4(2x−2)= –(4x−4)

-8x-(-8) = -4x-(-4)

-8x+8 = -4x+4

-8x+8-8 = -4x+4-8

-8x = -4x+(-4)

-8x+4x = -4x+4x+(-4)

-4x = -4

-4x/-4 = -4/-4

x = 1
