Lisa,Amy and Pete decided to race up the stairs that has 24 steps.Lisa takes 2 steps Every Second,Amy takes 3 steps every second. If pete starts at the bottom,what should lisa and amy start on so that all three finish in a tie? please help with strategy.

How many steps does pete take every second? one?if so, lisa and amy wouldn't start on steps, they would start further back
