Explanation:

You know that the line is negative so the slope should be negative. And since the slope goes over 2 and down two when using a slope triangle between the two points, meaning that the slope is negative one ( you do not have to write a number next to the x if it is one ). And since the line crosses the y-axis at 3 below the origin, the y-intercept is -3.
