Explanation:

Given : -

Diameter ( d ) = 7 mm

The value of π = 22/7

To find : Area of a cirlce

We know that

Diameter of a circle = 2 x Radius ( r )

d = 2r

42 = 2r

r = 42/2

r = 21 cm

r = 21 cmFormula : -

r = 21 cmFormula : -A = πr²

A = (22/7) * 21²

= (22/7) * 21 * 21

= (22 * 21 * 21)/7

= 22 * 21 * 3

A = 1386 cm²

Hence,

the Area of the Circle is 1386 cm².

Answer:

1,386 cm²

Explanation:

Area of circle :

  • A = πr²

Solving :

  • A = 22/7 x (21)²
  • A = 22/7 x 21 x 21
  • A = 22 x 3 x 21
  • A = 66 x 21
  • A = 1,386 cm²
