Find an equation of a line parallel to y=2x+4
and passing through the point (3, 4)

y= 2x-2 because if u plug in the coordinates u kno ur slope is going to be 2 bc parallel lines hv the same slope. so ur equation would look like 4=2(3)+b (solve for b) y=2x-2
