Assuming the 2 lines that look parallel in all of these problems, are actually parallel...

m<1 = 57° They are the same angle

m<HJK = 142° (again, same angle)

m<ABC = (4x = 3x + 23) solve for x

x = 23, then substitute 23 for x

4(23) = 92°

m<MPQ = (3x + 50 = 5x). solve for x

x = 25, then substitute 25 for x

3(25) + 50 = 125°

m<3 = 111° They are the same angle

m<4 = 90° If one angle is 90° where the lines cross, all of the angles are 90°
