9. If set A is a subset of set B, and set B is a subset of set C. Is it true that set A is a subset

Explanation:

when B is a subset of C, it means that everything in B is also contained in C. C just contains more than that.

when A is a subset of B, it means in the same way that everything in A is also contained in B. since it is contained in B, it is also contained in C.

so, A is therefore also a subset of C.
