Manu gave the cashier $ 80 to pay for 5 pairs of doggy collars. The cashier gave him $20.50 in change. Each doggy collar cost the same amount. What is the cost in dollars and cents for each doggy collar?

Answer:

I think it is $11.90.

Explanation:

All I did was this:

80 - 20.50 = 59.50.

59.50 / 5 = 11.90.

So if I'm wrong, shoot me :')

So if you subtract 20.50 from 80 you get 59.50 and then divide that by 5 and the ANSWER ISS...

Each collar was 11.90
