Answer:

slope= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

1) (2-1)/(3-2)

=m=1

3) (5-4)/(2-2)

= UNDEFINED (vertical line)

5) (-6-6)/(3-(-3)

(-12/6)

= -2

CHECK

y=mx+b

6=-2(-3)+b

6=6+b

b=0

y=-2x connects both of these points on a graph

Answer:

m = rise over run

Rise: y/2 - y/1

Run: x/2 - x/1

m = slope

(x_1, y_1) = coordinates of first point in the line

(x_2, y_2) = coordinates of second point in the line
