One type of electromagnetic radiation is light

Frequency (f): the number of waves / second

Can be formulated :

$\tt v=\lambda* f$

v=fast wave propagation ⇒ speed of light =3.10⁸ m/s

λ= Wavelength

The energy can be formulated as

E = h x f

Where

E = energy of light, J

h = Planck's constant (6,626.10⁻³⁴ Js)

f = Frequency of electromagnetic waves, Hz

1. λ = 4.82 x 10⁻¹⁰ m

the frequency =:

$\tt f=(v)/(\lambda)=(3.10^8)/(4.82* 10^(-10))=6.22* 10^(17)$

2. The energy

$\tt E=6,626.10^(-34)* 6.22* 10^(17)=4.12* 10^(-16)~J$

3. λ = 4.32 x 10⁻⁷ m

$\tt f=(3.10^8)/(4.32* 10^(-7))=6.94* 10^(14)\\\\E=6.626* 10^(-34)* 6.94* 10^(14)=4.598* 10^(-19)~J$
