So. Complementary angles sum to 90 degrees
Thus : x+30+2x+9=90
3x+39=90
Subtract 39 on both side
3x=51
Divide 3 on both side
X=17
First) x=17
Second) the larger angle is COP, because x+30===> 17+30=47
