The perimeter of a rectangle is 130 cm. If the breadth of the rectangle is 30

cm, find its length. Also find the area of the rectangle.​

The length is 35cm and the area is 1050cm^2

Explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangle is all of the side lengths added together. "Breadth" is your width. So 2 x 30 + 2 x some length is your perimeter. Mathematically this can be represented as:


60+ 2x=130


2x=70


x=35

For the area multiply 30 by 35


30*35=1050

And your answer for the area is in cm^2
