A bushel had a total of 68 apples. 25% of the apples were green and the rest of the apples were red. How many more red apples were there than green? STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION PLS

1. You need to do percentages so to find 25% or 1/4 of 68 (68 is divisible by 4) that would be 17
2. There are 17 green apples
3. There are 51 red apples
4. 51-17= 34
5. There are 34 more red apples than green

17 apples were green because it’s 25 percent of apples so it’s 68-17
