Now lets simply put 18 below the 3. We know 18 to something has to equal 3:6.

Simply divided 18/3=6

Now we have 6. Simply multiply it by the number of boys.

6*6, which equals 36 boys,

Your answer would be 36 boys

Now if we put 18:36, we get the ratio 3:6, which further reduces down to 1:2.
