45.0 g of CaCl, are dissolved in enough water so that the molarity of the solution is 1.15 M. What is the volume in mL of the solution?

CaCl calculate the molar mass of the compound first so u will get M.M=75.5 mol/g
Now multiple the mass of the compound by the molar mass ( make sure to cancel the mass unit so u get mole at the end)
45.0g x ( 1 mole:m/75.5g)
= 0.5960 mole
Now calculate the V
C= n/ V
V= n/c = 0.5960mole / 1.15 mol/ L = 0.6854 L
You are not done yet it asks for ml so multiple by 1000
685.43 ml
Now do sig fig
685 ml
