The object coordinate Q is (-11,3 )

Explanation:

The translation is given as : ( 6,-2 )

The image coordinates for Q' is ( -5,1 )

So, to get the coordinates of object point Q (x,y), will be;

Q (x,y) + ( 6,-2 )---translation --------------⇒image Q' ( -5,1 )

Thus,

x+6 = -5

x= -5-6= -11

and

y+ -2 = 1

y-2=1

y=1+2 =3

Thus the object point coordinates Q is (-11,3 )
