Five staff members were not able to make it to the yearbook meeting last Friday. At the meeting, the probability of choosing a student with a name beginning with M was 1/5. Explain how this is possible

Answer: I could be interpreting the question wrong, but the number of staff members doesn't affect the number of students with a name starting with M. No matter how many staff members could or could not come, it's the # of students that matters.
