25 divded by 2 =12.50
3.14*12.50^2=

Area = PI x radius^2


The diameter is given as 25 inches, the radius is 1/2 the diameter.

Radius = 25/2 = 12.5 inches


area = 12.5^2 x 3.14

Area = 490.625 square inches
