Big Ben (the clocktower) in London has a circumference of 72.22 feet and an area of 415.27 feet^2. What is the diameter AND radius of Big Ben? Use 3.14 for pi. Do not round your answer.

Help ASAP read my profile picture so you can understand the desperation I’m feeling (if you help me with this you could probably do my last question too!!)

Answer:

Diameter = 23 Radius = 11.5

Explanation:

Divide the circumference by π, or 3.14 for an estimation. The result is the circle's diameter.

72.22 ÷ 3.24 = 23

diameter = 23

Divide the diameter by 2.

23 ÷ 2 = 11.5

There you go, you found the circle's radius
