nth term = n(n + 2)

Explanation:

Note that the first number in each parentheses is the sequence number n of the term. This value of n is then multiplied by (n + 2) - for example 3 x 5

( 3 x (3+2)).

So the nth term = n(n + 2).

This is an example of a Quadratic Sequence.
