$ 30 and $ 18

Explanation:

Let,

Cost of shirt 1 = x

Cost of shirt 2 = x + 12

Equation => x + x + 12 = 48

=> 2x + 12 = 48

=> 2x = 48 - 12

=> 2x = 36

=> x = 36/2

=> x = $ 18

=> x + 12 = 18 + 12 + $ 30
