As a result of the Treaty of Versailles that had bad outcomes on Germany, Germans, especially Nazis, were angry and needed someone to blame. Nazis began to target Jews as the reason why Germany was blamed for WWI and was doing so badly. Nazis began to vandalize their properties, stage violence against them, kill/torture them in concentration camps and systematically persecute them.
