velocity, v = 15m / 3.0s

= 5 ms^-1

velocity = wavelength × frequency

5 ms^-1 = 1.5m × f

f = 5 ms^-1 / 1.5 m

f = 3.33 Hz

f = 1/T

T = 1/f

= 1/ 3.33 Hz

= 0.3 s

frequency, f = 3.33 Hz

period, T = 0.3 s
