Sexual reproduction in flowering plants involves the production of male and female gametes, the transfer of the male gametes to the female ovules in a process called pollination. After pollination occurs, fertilization happens and the ovules grow into seeds within a fruit.

These sex organs in plants are carried within the flower and the seeds which are inside a fruit. Such plants are called angiosperms or flowering plants as they reproduce by sexual reproduction method. Most of the plants contain reproductive organs of both male and female in the flowers
