Answer:

y = 5 x - 1

Explanation:

Use the "point-slope" form of a line with slope m = 5 and going through the point (x1, y1) = (2, 9)

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

in our case:

y - 9 = 5 (x - 2)

distributive property to reduce the parenthesis:

y - 9 = 5 x - 10

adding 9 to both sides:

y = 5 x - 10 + 9

y = 5 x - 1
