Answer:

4 3/4ft in fractions. 4ft 8in in inches. 4.75ft in decimal.

Explanation:

4 1/2 + 1/4 = 4 2/4 + 1/4 = 4 3/4.

4 3/4 can also be written as 4.75 or, as we are talking about feet and inches, 4ft 8.

Answer:

4(3)/(4) feet of snowfall

Explanation:

Convert
4(1)/(2) to a improper fraction,

(9)/(2)

(9)/(2) + (1)/(4)

Find a common denominator (in this case lets do 4)

(9)/(2) * 2 = (18)/(4)

Then add

(18)/(4) +(1)/(4) = (19)/(4)

Then simplify

(19)/(4) = 4(3)/(4)

And we found our answer,

4(3)/(4) feet of snowfall in the two months combined
