Answer:

I need about 41 liters of gas to fill my tank

Explanation:

Full tank: 17 gallons

Amount of gas in tank now: 6 gallons

Amount needed to fill tank: 17 gallons - 6 gallons = 11 gallons

The amount needed to fill the tank is 11 gallons.

Now we convert 11 gallons to liters.

We use conversion fractions, first from gallons to quarts, then from quarts to liters.

11 gallons * (4 quarts)/(1 gallon) * (0.94 liter)/(1 quart) = 41.36 liters
