For Halloween, you go trick - or - treating in your neighborhood. You notice that a lot of people are giving out starbursts this year. When you get home, you decide to count how many you were given and you sort them by their color. You count 5 yellow, 7 red, 7 orange and 6 pink. As a normal human being, you decide to give your younger sibling all of the yellow starbursts because they are trash. After giving away all of the yellow starbursts, you decide to randomly select and eat two starbursts. What is the probability of choosing a red and pink starburst? Help

Answer:

7/20 and 6/20

Explanation:

Well without the yellow, you have 20 starburst left, so the probability that you will get red is a 7/20 and pink is a 6/20 chance. Because there is still orange, the addition to red and pink will not equal 20. Hope this helps!
