Answer:

Social-emotional development includes the child’s experience, expression, and management of emotions and the ability to establish positive and rewarding relationships with others. It encompasses both intra- and interpersonal processes.

In this Situation the child's mother and father were yelling angrily at each other, therefore it would be a negative experience to their child, and would not been fully supporting their child's socioemotional development.

Parents yelling at each other in a violent way will always affect the child. Parents who aren't mature enough to talk with each other privately and solving their problem in a more sufficient will scar their child for life. Once the child hears their parents argue 24/7 the child will adapt their way of fixing arguments, which is yelling. Let's say the child already has a significant other. The child will verbally abuse their partner, and its all because of the parents.
