The length and breadth of a rectangle are in a 15 : 11 ratio. If the length is 56 cm more than the breadth, find the perimeter of the rectangle.​

Perimeter of rectangle = 728 cm

Explanation:

Length : breadth = 15 : 11

Length = 15x

Breadth = 11x

15x - 11x = 56 cm

4x = 56

x = 56/4

x = 14

Length = 15 *14 = 210 cm

Breadth = 11 * 14 = 154 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 * ( length + breadth)

= 2 *(210 + 154)

= 2 * 364

= 728 cm
