Answer:

x = 11

Explanation:

5 + 2x = 3x - 6

5 + 2x - 3x = 3x - 3x - 6

5 -1x = -6

5 - 5 - 1x = -6 - 5

-1x = -11

-1x/-1 = -11/-1

x = 11
